The fish and locations are beautiful, the 1v1 is nice to play, ton of locations. I like that you can send nice little messages and emojis to your fishing opponent, and that it plays in portrait mode. But the monthly price for access to a "season" is $20!! The lures and rods are overpriced, and the new missions are on a timer, and eventually impossible to complete without buying things.

Money pit, if you want to stay competitive you need to spend, big time, as different locations are not related in any way, so you need completely different tackle and lures for every location. Same as playing 15 different games. Support is nonexistent- game froze several times when opening lure or rod boxes,lost the content, submitted ticket,received email that my request for deleting my account is being processed. ONLY COMPLAINT: you get time gated when unlocking a new area and you can't complete the final challenge without spending 15$ to get a 2nd tier 4 rod to get ultimate free2play prize which is a HUGE reward. rod loot boxes only work for specific areas so you can't farm this and you miss out or you pay 15$ or more for rods. not cool.
